I’m Jon Benger, a trained and qualified pianist and music teacher who has been based in Frome for more than 30 years. As well as piano, I teach brass instruments including French horn, trumpet, and trombone. Whether you’re taking your first steps, returning to music after years away, preparing for an exam, or looking to take your playing further, my tuition is tailored around you, your interests and your goals. I work mainly with adults and more advanced younger musicians, but I’m also happy to teach enthusiastic beginners. Lessons take place in my private home studio in Frome, which is equipped with a modern grand piano.
Many of my students travel from Trowbridge, Warminster, Westbury, Bradford-on-Avon, Radstock, Midsomer Norton, Shepton Mallet and Bruton because they are looking for individual tuition from an experienced professional musician.
